FCOB (flexible chip on board) strips have LEDs packed so close together that the light is a smooth line with no visible dots. That makes them ideal for cove lighting, false ceilings, shelves and furniture.
Our LumiFlex Ultra FCOB neon strips have 240 LEDs per metre and run on direct AC, so no separate driver is needed.
FCOB (flip-chip chip-on-board) strip lights pack their LED chips so closely that the light looks like one continuous line, with no visible dots. That makes them a favourite for cove ceilings, false ceilings, wardrobes, shelves, mirrors and retail displays, where the strip may sit close to the surface it lights.
Pick the colour temperature first: warm white for bedrooms and living rooms, neutral white for kitchens and workspaces, cool white for displays. Then measure the run, plan where the power supply will sit, and choose a driver with enough wattage for the full length. An aluminium profile gives a cleaner finish and helps with heat.
