Amber Rope Light for Diwali: Pro or Slim? (Buying Guide)

Amber yellow is the colour of Diwali lighting: warm, golden and festive. ENER-J India sells amber LED rope light in two 50 metre versions, and the right one depends on where you are using it.
LumiFlex Pro amber (F206), Rs 2,599
The LumiFlex Pro amber rope light has 120 LEDs per metre behind a frosted diffuser, so it gives a smooth, continuous golden glow. It suits wide building outlines, balcony railings, mandaps and wedding decoration.
LumiFlex Slim amber (F222), Rs 1,899
The LumiFlex Slim amber rope light is a slimmer 9mm profile with a clear diffuser. The amber is sharper and more concentrated, which works well for tracing edges, steps, windows and tight outlines.
Which one should you buy?
Choose Pro for a soft, wide, even glow on large surfaces. Choose Slim for clean thin lines and a lower price: it works out at about Rs 38 per metre against about Rs 52 per metre for Pro.
How much do you need?
Measure the full length of the outline you want to light, add the lengths together and round up to whole 50 metre rolls. Two Pro rolls come to Rs 5,198 and three Slim rolls to Rs 5,697, so either meets the Rs 5,000 online minimum on its own.
